Hot new course premieres

Hot New Course Premieres

 

   “Dementia Care Specialist” premiered this month with lots of registrations, proving that there is a great need for helping home care workers and other health care professionals understand, take care of, and work with people with dementia. 
   The course is taught by Pamela Atwood of Hebrew Healthcare in Hartford, Connecticut, and one of the best trained professionals in this area.  
   The next offerings of the two-month course are April-May; June-July; and September-October.

Feel Good Story of the Month

   One of the participants in our new Dementia Care Specialist course from the Virgin Islands said she was the first person in the country other than doctors to be trained in dementia care.
